We have looked at several methods of communication this morning. I am overwhelmed. I would like to spend more time using the google world. I am sure I will use the gmail account.
School are changing so rapidly it is hard to imagine what the future holds. We are no longer pouring knowledge into young minds but the emphasis is now on using the mind. It is crucial that all students be armed with reasoning and problem solving skills. I am concerned about what I am teaching in the library - what skills will still be needed and what skills will no longer exist. I do not feel I am keeping up with what is current.

I will spend more time exploring google earth. I think I would like to make google earth my internet home page - it seems easier to customize.
